Exceptions and things to know
- eSIM on Fairphone requires Android 13 or later: update your phone first if needed.
- On the US Fairphone (Gen. 6), eSIM support was still being rolled out, so availability may be limited.
How to check your Fairphone

Open the Phone app and dial *#06#. If an EID (a 32-digit number) is listed, your phone has an eSIM chip.

Go to Settings > Network & internet > SIMs and tap "+" or "Add eSIM". If the option is there, eSIM is enabled.

Make sure the phone is carrier-unlocked: a phone locked to your carrier will refuse a travel eSIM from another provider.
