Which Google Pixel phones support eSIM?
Google has been one of the most consistent eSIM supporters: every Pixel from the Pixel 3a onwards has an eSIM, Pixel 7 and later can run two eSIMs at once, and US versions of the Pixel 10 and later (except the Pixel 10 Pro Fold) are eSIM-only.

Exceptions and things to know
- A Pixel 3a bought in Japan cannot use two SIMs at once.
- Older Pixel 2 and Pixel 3 phones only supported eSIM with certain carriers or countries, so we do not list them.
- Pixels sold by a carrier (e.g. some US carrier models) may be locked — they need to be unlocked before you add a travel eSIM.
How to check your Google Pixel

Go to Settings > Network & internet > SIMs and tap "+" or "Add eSIM". If the option is there, eSIM is enabled.

Or go to Settings > About phone: an "EID" entry under SIM status means your Pixel has an eSIM.

Make sure the phone is carrier-unlocked: a phone locked to your carrier will refuse a travel eSIM from another provider.
Google Pixel eSIM: FAQ
Can a Pixel use two eSIMs at the same time?
Yes, from the Pixel 7 onwards, if your carrier allows it. Older Pixels (3a to 6a) combine one physical SIM with one eSIM.
My US Pixel 10 has no SIM tray. Can I still use FreeBird?
