Exceptions and things to know
- OPPO enables eSIM only in some markets: the same model can ship without it elsewhere. Check with *#06# before you buy a plan.
- Your OPPO must be carrier-unlocked to add a travel eSIM.
How to check your OPPO

Open the Phone app and dial *#06#. If an EID (a 32-digit number) is listed, your phone has an eSIM chip.

Go to Settings > Mobile network (or SIM card & mobile data) and look for an eSIM option.

Make sure the phone is carrier-unlocked: a phone locked to your carrier will refuse a travel eSIM from another provider.
