Which Huawei phones support eSIM?
Only a handful of Huawei phones sold internationally support eSIM: the P40 family (except the P40 Pro+) and the Mate 40 Pro. Most other Huawei phones use physical SIM cards only.

Exceptions and things to know
- The P40 Pro+ does not support eSIM.
- Huawei phones sold in mainland China do not support international eSIMs.
- Some newer Huawei models have eSIM only in China, so we do not list them.
How to check your Huawei

Open the Phone app and dial *#06#. If an EID (a 32-digit number) is listed, your phone has an eSIM chip.

Go to Settings > Mobile network > SIM management and look for an eSIM option.

Make sure the phone is carrier-unlocked: a phone locked to your carrier will refuse a travel eSIM from another provider.

Does the Huawei P30 Pro support eSIM?
No. The P30 Pro uses physical SIM cards only. On Huawei, eSIM starts with the P40 and Mate 40 Pro.
Do newer Huawei Pura or Mate phones support eSIM?
Some have eSIM in China only. We could not confirm international eSIM support, so they are not on our list. Dial *#06# to check yours.
