Which Samsung Galaxy phones support eSIM?
Samsung added eSIM to its flagships with the Galaxy S20 and the first Galaxy Fold. Every Galaxy S and Z model since then supports it, and eSIM has been spreading to the Galaxy A series since the A54 — but for A-series phones, the country your phone was made for matters.

Exceptions and things to know
- Samsung itself warns that eSIM may be disabled on Galaxy phones bought in some countries, even on listed models. Always run the check below on your own phone.
- Galaxy A series: many regional versions of the A16, A26, A35 or A36 have no eSIM. The notes next to each model show where eSIM is included.
- Carrier-locked Galaxy phones (common with US carrier deals) cannot use a travel eSIM until your carrier unlocks them.
- Wi-Fi-only Galaxy Tab models have no eSIM.
How to check your Samsung Galaxy

Open the Phone app and dial *#06#. If an EID (a 32-digit number) is listed, your phone has an eSIM chip.

Go to Settings > Connections > SIM manager (SIM card manager on older versions). If you see "Add eSIM", your Galaxy supports eSIM.

Make sure the phone is carrier-unlocked: a phone locked to your carrier will refuse a travel eSIM from another provider.

Does the Samsung Galaxy A54 support eSIM?
Yes, on models sold in Europe, North America, Korea and Japan. Versions made for other markets (for example parts of Asia or Latin America) may not have it — dial *#06# and look for an EID to be sure.
Does the Galaxy S21 FE or S20 FE support eSIM?
Samsung does not list the S20 FE or S21 FE among its eSIM phones, so we leave them out. If your FE shows an EID when you dial *#06#, it has an eSIM.
Can I use two SIMs on my Galaxy?
